Greg Foster Resigns as General Manager at DWP Live

DWP Live announced yesterday that Greg Foster has officially resigned from his three and a half year post as general manager effective April 28.

In his statement, Foster explained that working with DWP Live has been a great and evolving experience. "DWP Live is family-owned company that knows family comes first. The bonds created here are strong. Even so, it became apparent to me that there was a growing imbalance between my personal family time and my time commuting from Alabama to Nashville," Foster said. "I knew that even with all the exciting new happenings at DWP Live, I had to leave and seek a position closer to my home."

Foster has been acting general manager for the last three and a half years, and in that time has worked with an ever-growing team. Whether technician, warehouse assistant, or client, Foster has a way of making everyone feel at ease.

Danny Whetstone, founder and president of DWP Live stated, "Greg has been in this industry a long time and knows it well. We have enjoyed working together on some great events which makes it hard to see him go. DWP Live was literally built out of the necessity to be closer to family so we completely support Greg's decision to seek a position that is closer to his home and family."

Whetstone added, "DWP Live is fortunate to have experts in all of our divisions which makes it easier to cover needs as they arise. We educate, elevate, and in many cases, promote from within. Our clients and customers are the priority and we will be there for their every need as always. It is a very exciting time at DWP Live and also very busy. We have new equipment filling our new building and a new event space ready to serve our community. We wish Greg nothing but the best and hope to see him at events in the future."

DWP Live will be reviewing candidates to fill the general manager position. Please send inquiries and resumés for this position to careers@dwplive.com.
