Short Reach Short Riders Ride Again for Behind the Scenes

	Short Reach Short Riders raised funds for Behind the Scenes with their annual trike races.

The Mt. Vernon Senior High School Fine Arts Academy "Short Reach Short Riders" held their ninth annual trike race on Saturday, May 9, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Seventeen intrepid riders participated in sprint races, team relays, and "The Enduro."

Winners included Tyler Davis (Sprint), The Blazing Trikes /Team Sapsis (Relay), and Jarod Mader (The Enduro). Donations in excess of $1,000 were generated by this year's ride, bringing the Short Reach Short Riders donations to the Behind the Scenes charity to just over $12,000.

Ride sponsors included Bill Sapsis, Lori Rubinstein, and John McGraw.

Behind the Scenes is a charity that provides financial support to entertainment technology industry professionals when they are ill or injured or to their surviving family members. Grants are tailored to each individual but uses can include basic living costs, medical related expenses, transportation, retraining, and funeral expenses. Behind the Scenes brings help and hope in times of great need.
