White Light at PLASA Focus: Nashville
Entertainment lighting specialist, White Light, this week will be at PLASA Focus in Nashville, showing the latest LED lighting technology from i-Pix and Core Lighting.
For the last seven years, i-Pix has been creating LED lighting fixtures that have immediately become the favorites of lighting designers working across the full spectrum of entertainment lighting, from concerts and live events to theatre productions. At PLASA Focus, staff from White Light, i-Pix's distributor, will be showing the new i-Line 600 and i-Line 1200 battens. Building on the success of i-Pix's renowned BB range, the i-Lines are six-cell or twelve-cell color-mixing fixtures offering high light output in a beam that is completely blended. The i-Line fixtures deliver over five times the output of the original BB range. The new fixtures have already been put to use lighting the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concerts in London.
Core Lighting specializes in creating waterproof, battery powered, radio controlled LED uplighters, perfect for lighting events indoors or outdoors without the worry, complication, and unsightliness of mains and control cables. At PLASA Focus, White Light will be showing the brand new Core Flood30, which is a high-output 4200K white LED flood fixture offering a light output equivalent to a 750W tungsten fixture while using just 75W of power. The fixture can be powered from the mains or its built-in battery; the lighting head is normally attached to the battery but can also be removed and mounted separately when required. The Flood30 is IP65 rated for outdoor use, and convection cooled, providing reduced maintenance requirements and no background noise.
White Light will be showing the i-Pix and Core Lighting products on stand 204 at PLASA Focus: Nashville, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, July 11-12, at the Municipal Auditorium, Nashville.
