Baine, Hilferty, Holder, and Weiss Take Helen Hayes Design Awards

The 2016 Helen Hayes Awards, celebrating theatre in Washington D.C., were presented May 23. Salomé produced by Shakespeare Theatre, took home two design awards, with Donald Holder winning for lighting and Susan Hilferty for scenic design. In addition, Julie Weiss won for her costumes in Destiny of Desire, produced by Arena Stage, and Christopher Baine for the sound design of When She Had Wings,, produced by Imagination Stage.
