LMG Expands Inventory with Major Investments

Avolites Media's Ai Infinity EX8 with 4K option

LMG, a full-service provider of video, audio, and lighting support, recently added Avolites, Robe, and Philips Vari-Lite equipment to inventory.

A supply of Avolites Media's Ai Infinity EX8 with 4K option has been added to the firm's new media inventory to support live events was part of the investment.

The Avolites Media's Ai Infinity EX8 with 4K option, with its unique hardware features, includes LTC timecode input, DMX 512, and Art-Net output. The eight full 1080p HD outputs include an internal EDID management and adds third generation PCI Express motherboards, graphic cards, and RAID SSD drives. The integrated front panel touchscreen allows the user to build and create within the 3D stage visualizer, which can map and warp onto any 3D surface. In addition, it is customized with added 4K Ultra HD functionality compatible with LMG's 4K Ultra HD system.

"AI Media Server provides solutions in 3D projection mapping and LED mapping in one compact piece of equipment that's simple to use, but highly customizable," explain Adam Hunley, new media services manager of LMG.

LMG also purchased a supply of Robe Pointes for the firm's lighting inventory to support live events.

The Robe Pointe provides crisp, clear output to cover all the user's show needs with the ability to switch between Beam, Spot, Wash, and FX. The super-fast Pointe can project static or rotating glass gobos that can cut through air and across video effortlessly. When adding rotation, the six-way linear or eight-way circular prisms both create wide effects and allow for endless beam effect options. In addition, the company says this technology's small, lightweight body produces an output much greater in quality and power than seems possible.

"LMG's newest aerial EFX light, the Robe Pointe is small, fast, powerful, and fully loaded. I'm all in!" explains Steve "Boz" Bodzioch, lighting services manager of LMG.

In addition, LMG has acquired a supply of Philips Vari-Lite VL4000 Spot Luminaires for the firm's lighting inventory.

The Vari-Lite VL4000 Spot Luminaire moving light produces high quality imagery with a remarkable collection of patterns for both aerial and projected surfaces. With its new cooling system, it is able to quietly draw air into the fixture, reduces noise level while still producing 25,000 lumens of output. The luminaire features 5:1 zoom optics, CYM color mixing, variable CTO color temperature correction, dual five-position color wheels, and two rotating gobo/effects wheels.

"The new VL400 Spot Luminaire fixture will bring LMG and our clients the next evolution in lighting the space. With so many assets on board, the VL4000 delivers the ability to bring any environment to life," explains Bodzioch.
