San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Winners Announced

The winners of The San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle were announced March 9 at the Victoria Theatre. Journey's End and Water by the Spoonful took home two design category awards each (both in lighting and sound design). For Journey's, Ellen Brooks was presented with the award for lighting design and Stephen Dietz was recognized for sound design (both in a house with 100 to 300 seats). For Water, Steven B. Mannshardt was honored for lighting design and Gregory Robinson for sound design (both in a house with over 300 seats).

Costume design, in a house with over 300 seats
Patrica Polen, The Taming of the Shrew

Set design, in a house with under 100 seats
Jesse Dreikosen, The Glass Menagerie

Set design, in a house with 100 to 300 seats
Bill English, Seminar

Set design, in a house with over 300 seats
Joe Ragey, Peter and the Starcatcher
