Analog Way Shows Improved LiveCore Series of Presentation Mixers at InfoComm 2015

Analog Way's LiveCore Series

Analog Way announces the company will exhibit at InfoComm 2015. From June 17 - 19, in Orlando, Florida, in booth 1715, Analog Way will present its LiveCore series of presentation mixers enhanced with outstanding new features, and completed with two new references: Ascender 16 and NeXtage 08.

NeXtage 08 (ref. NXT0802) is a new high-end Seamless Switcher, equipped with eight scalers, eight seamless inputs, and two main outputs. NeXtage 08 offers 28 input plugs: four HDMI, six DVI-D, two DisplayPort, eight 3G-SDI, and eight universal analog. The NeXtage 08 also offers unique connectivity through SDI SFP Cage on each output, compatible with most SFP modules on the market. The device can handle any source from composite video, up to 2560x1600 (DVI dual-link available). It also outputs a variety of formats, including HD-TV and computer format up to 2560x1600. NeXtage 08 is available with full 4K resolution I/O as an optional feature. The eight scalers ensure an easy, intuitive, and powerful experience with the NeXtage 08. With two independent seamless mix layers per output, as well as an independent native background layer included for soft edge blending or individual screen modes, NeXtage 08 is an exciting tool to create impressive shows requiring two independently switched displays. The unit can be controlled via the Web RCS, an intuitive Web-based remote control software. For more demanding applications, NeXtage 08 can be controlled through the Vertige, a powerful remote console. iOS and Android apps, or AMX and Crestron 2- and 3-Series modules are available at www.analogway.com.

Ascender 16 (Ref. ASC1602) is a powerful new Multi-Screen Seamless Switcher based on the LiveCore platform. The Ascender 16 offers 12 inputs with 42 source plugs: six HDMI, nine DVI-I, three DisplayPort, 12x 3G/HD/SD-SDI, and 12x universal analog. It can handle any source from composite video, up to 2560x1600 and 4K, and outputs a variety of formats, including HD-TV and computer formats up to 2560x1600 and 4K. Ascender 16 includes an independent dual-link output for monitoring purposes, with a live source mosaic layout. The product delivers varied display configurations: mixer, hybrid, hard edge, and soft edge configurations. In addition to a native background layer, Ascender 16 can display up to two true seamless scaled layers per output. The unit can be controlled via the Web RCS, an intuitive Web-based remote control software. For more demanding applications, Ascender 16 can be controlled through the Vertige, a powerful remote console. iOS and Android apps, or AMX and Crestron 2- and 3-Series modules are available at www.analogway.com.

Ascender 48 (Ref. ASC4806) will be shown with an unparalleled operating mode: perspective layers. Available as an option for the Ascender 48, including units already in the field, perspective layers allow animation of live layers with a virtual viewing perspective in real time with X,Y,Z axis rotation control. In perspective mode, the Ascender 48 can display three perspective layers per output plus a native background. The perspective layers can support the same seamless transition effects as any other layer. Using the monitoring output, the operator can display the perspective layers on a preview in real time in order to see and arrange all layers and presets. Creation and management of the perspective layers can be managed directly from the Ascender 48's Web RCS, a user-friendly interface. Equipped with 48 scalers, the Ascender 48 offers mixer, hybrid, hard edge, and soft edge configurations to fit any application.

Analog Way constantly improves its systems according to market requests. The company says a perfect example is the new cut and fill feature available in forthcoming version v3.01. Pairing two layers with the Web RCS, one containing a grey level source (cut), the other one a live source (fill), the unit can display perfectly keyed content to achieve non-rectangular smoothed-edged key layers. The cut can be either a live source synchronized with the fill or a still picture. In this last case, adjusting the luma thresholds integrated in the preset allows creation of impressive dynamic transitions.

The Vertige, is a premium remote console designed to control Analog Way's latest series of mixers/seamless switchers. The remote controller integrates a simple and flexible approach to show creation and new ways to manage powerful events. The Vertige will be showcased with new firmware offering major improvements and new features. It can now control external matrix routers. Among other features, the Vertige can now manage devices in associative modularity mode: up to four LiveCore units of a same reference can be controlled together. In this configuration, wider screen display configurations can be achieved, either horizontally, vertically, or both.
