Adriana Kahrs Named General Manager of Texas Scenic

Texas Scenic announces that Adriana Kahrs has been named the new general manager at Texas Scenic Company, effective June 1. Kahrs has been on staff at Texas Scenic for 26 years, most recently as the Procurement Specialist for the company. Kahrs began at Texas Scenic as an inside sales associate, working her way up through the Inside Sales team before becoming the Procurement Specialist in 2010. "I can't think of a better person suited to step into this leadership role," says Steve Surratt, who has been the general manager along with chief operating officer of Texas Scenic since 2003. Surratt will continue to serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the company, allowing him focus on the strategic and business development goals of Texas Scenic moving forward.

Texas Scenic is also currently in the process of expanding their facility in San Antonio in preparation to move their acouStaCorp Variable Acoustic Banner operation from the Bronx, NY to San Antonio this coming August. The expansion will add 6,800 sq. ft. for banner production and offices, along with an additional 5,500 sq. ft. of space to expand their rigging manufacturing capabilities. Texas Scenic will continue to have a Northeast office in NY, but this move will bring all of Texas Scenic's manufacturing brands (Inline, Deck Boss, acouStaCorp) under one roof in TX.
