Flare Audio Announces Manufacturing Focus

Flare Audio Limited has announced it is to concentrate solely on developing and manufacturing its own brand of audio products.

The company's specialist range of products, including the Triwave and Quadhorn ranges, use knowledge of applied physics to create designs based on Nanoflow technology. The company says it believes that by using this technology, its products are uniquely positioned to provide the clearest sound available at a fraction of the size and weight of other leading products.

Founded in 2007, Flare focused strongly on clarity, tourability, and control. Following several years of success at festivals and on tour, the products have consistently been praised by the industry, the company says.

"At Flare we believe that nothing should come between the performer and the audience, and that this quality should resonate in the studio and smaller venues, as well as club, DJ and residential markets," explains Flare's business manager Kristin Hanson. "There should be no distortion, no resonance, no electronic correction, and no need to decide between point source or line array."

As a result of the new direction, the PA hire side of the business, Purple Audio Limited, will close later this year to enable sole concentration on development of further product lines and technological innovations.

"In view of the extraordinary success of our product lines, it makes sense for Flare Audio to concentrate its activities on manufacturing and innovation in the wider audio market," says Davies Roberts, company founder. "The time is right to focus resources on our growing product portfolio. Our experience in PA hire inspired us to create sound systems that connect artists with their audience through pure sound, offering market-leading clarity, control, and tourability. We now want to develop those products yet further."

To support this focus, Flare is currently building a network of rental partners.

"We have already opened discussions with several interested rental companies and systems installers and are happy to hear from any audio professionals keen to learn more about and work with Flare brands," says Roberts. "The great thing is our products speak for themselves. They're innovative, sound phenomenal, and are reliable. This is an exciting opportunity for rental partners and systems installers to gain a greater share of the growing market for Flare products."

The refocused company direction is reflected in the company's new website, which offers demonstration opportunities for potential new distribution partners as well as news and information on the company's product line. There is also a registered user area for technical downloads.
