USITT 2015 Session Recordings Now Available

Terrence Spivey

Audio recordings of up to 70 theatrical design and technology sessions from USITT 2015 in Cincinnati are now available online, as are videos of top sessions including the keynote address by Terrence Spivey.

USITT 2015 attracted nearly 5,500 people and held over 275 educational sessions in every discipline of performing arts and live entertainment design and technology at Cincy's Duke Energy Convention Center in March.

In response to requests, USITT recorded sessions for those who could not attend or would like them as a resource. Order USITT 2015 recordings http://www.usittshow.com/#!conference-session-recordings/c21if.

Audio recordings with images from session presentations are grouped by USITT Commission and can be purchased for $45 per set. The full Conference package of 70 recordings is available for $175.

The $45 sets include five to eight sessions in the following interest areas: architecture, costume design and technology, education, engineering, lighting design and technology, management, safety and health, scene design and technology, sound design and technology, and technical production.

The costume, scene design, management, education, and technical production sets include their 2015 Distinguished Achievement Award presentations -- to costume designer Jane Greenwood, scene designer Douglas W. Schmidt, TCG executive director Teresa Eyring, Yale Drama projection design professor Wendall Harrington, and technical producer Loren Schreiber.

Each set also includes video of three key USITT 2015 sessions: the Distinguished Achievement Award Winners in Conversation, the 2015 Young Designers & Technicians Awards, and the keynote by Terrence Spivey, artistic director of Karamu House theatre in Cleveland.

USITT plans to offer another slate of educational sessions at USITT 2016, to be held next March 16 - 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
