AC-ET Announced as Exclusive UK Distributor for Griven at PLASA 2012

Jonathan Walters, AC-ET's UK sales director; Danilo Bettinazzi, Griven's director of sales and marketing; William Yeo, ACSP's operations manager

A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) Ltd. was officially announced as the exclusive UK distributor for Italian manufacturer Griven's LED lighting solutions at PLASA 2012, held at Earls Court, London earlier this month.

AC-ET brings to the table its specialist LED lighting knowledge, experience, and customer base in the key entertainment, architectural, and architainment sectors serviced by Griven.

Their product range complements AC-ET's portfolio of LED brands. In addition, sister company A.C. Special Projects (ACSP) Ltd. provides custom solutions and installations for a variety of architectural projects tying to Griven's ability to produce custom lighting solutions also strengthens this synergy.

Showcased on ACSP's stand was the new Powershine Ultra Spot RGBW, which features a four-degree, sharp projection of light that delivers new levels of flexibility when lighting building and architectural projects.

The Powershine series is an extremely powerful range of IP66 LED color changer fixtures that are available in a single or double cluster configuration featuring RGBW, white, monochrome, or dynamic white LED set-ups. Also available is the Polar Edition, featuring an integrated de-icing system with electrically heated glass -- ensuring non-compromised performance in even the coldest weather.

The compact Zaphir RGBW/W and DW range has been developed for architectural applications, with an RGBW LED combination offering whites as well as pastels.

The Parade S-RGBW/W and S-DW series are modular battens with great output and smooth, uniform coverage even when very close to objects, thanks to state-of-the-art specifically engineered wall washer elliptical and elliptical-wide optics, the company says.

Graph-i-spot and Graph-i-code are the high-end fixtures of the Griven's family of high impact weatherized pixel lighting solutions that can be used to screen low resolution video-footage or display of graphic patterns.

GoboLED 80 and 80D allow for manifold gobo projections in outdoor and indoor locations, using a single white LED instead of a traditional metal halide lamp. The projections are bright and accurate rendition of any graphic design or logo.

AC-ET's UK sales director, Jonathan Walters and ACSP's operations manager, William Yeo met with Griven's director of sales and marketing, Danilo Bettinazzi at the PLASA show to seal the deal.

Yeo comments: "Their fixtures are extremely well engineered, robust, and excellent for dealing with extreme environments and weather conditions. Griven can also supply bespoke solutions as required, which will be very useful for our clients' very specific project requirements. We are looking forward to a long, successful, and highly creative working relationship with lots of synergy and mutual respect."

Bettinazzi is equally delighted with the new partnership, commenting that "We wanted to partner with AC-ET because we share the same long term goals, core values, and work ethics," adding that professionals throughout the UK come to the two A.C. companies for complete system solutions and "first class service."
