ETC, Clay Paky, coolux, and Others Recognized at LDI Awards

The LDI Awards were handed out on Saturday night at the LDI show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many companies were recognized for their presentation skills at the event. ETC won best large booth and d3 Technologies won best small booth. Elation Professional was recognized with the Creative Use of Light award, and VER was proclaimed to have the best product presentation.

For debuting products, the Clay Paky Sharpy Wash 330 and ETC Source Four LED won for lighting; coolux Widget Designer version 4.0 won for projection; and the J.R. Clancy SureStop Head Block won in the staging and rigging category. The Light Vector Lasers Composer was named the best new special effects product; the L-Acoustics 5XT Ultra-Compact Coaxial Enclosure won in the sound category; and Enttec DMX USB Pro Mk2 was named the best new widget.

Honorable Mentions went to Fuel Lighting Systems' Angle Light, Pathway Connectivity Cognito, and Gantom iQ DMX Series.

The Redden Awards recognized lighting designers for their skills in theatre, corporate events, and concerts. Kevin Adams won for theatre, Abigail Rosen Holmes won for events, and Al Gurdon won for concert lighting design.
