For the second year in a row, Audio-Technica, a provider of transducer technology for over 50 years, held a popular series of "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) question-and-answer sessions at its exhibition booth at the 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles, California. Sessions took place two days of the convention: Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11.

The archived sessions, available at www.audio-technica.com/AES2014, include discussions with guests Dave Pensado and Herb Trawick, co-hosts of hit web series "Pensado's Place;" Joe Chiccarelli, Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer; Michael Beinhorn, producer/engineer (Hole, Soundgarden, Marilyn Manson); Ryan Hewitt, GrammyRAMMY Award-winning engineer/mixer/producer (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sheryl Crow, Avett Brothers); Curt Bisquera, drummer (Bonnie Raitt, Sarah McLachlan); Joe Barresi, producer/mixer/engineer (Monster Magnet, Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails); Matt McArthur, executive director of The Record Company; and Frank Klepacki, video game audio director, engineer, composer, producer, and performer (game scoring credits include Command and Conquer: Red Alert and Star Wars: Empire at War).

Jeff Simcox, Audio-Technica executive director of marketing communications and the moderator for the sessions, stated, "Back by popular demand, our AMA sessions are quickly becoming a yearly tradition at the AES Convention, and our guests represented a varied pool of talent and experience from different sectors of the audio industry. These were informative and entertaining sessions, and we are very pleased that they were so popular with convention attendees."
