Chauvet Professional's Conquer All Elements Tour Promotes HOW Lighting Education

Chauvet Professional has launched the Conquer All Elements Tour that will see the company participate in a co-sponsored educational session for houses of worship. As its name implies, the tour is part of an ongoing effort by the company to provide technical directors, lighting designers, and production managers with insights and information that will help them "conquer all elements" that stand in the way of them creating the most immersive and engaging worship environments.

During the tour, Chauvet Professional will be participating in sessions conducted by highly regarded partners like Fuller Lights, FILO, and Mx U.

"The sessions will draw on the experience and expertise of thought leaders from within the worship community," says Daryl Sutton, national worship resource manager of Chauvet Professional. "Alex Fuller of Fuller Lights has been responsible for a long list of projects that have woven different technologies into balanced and engaging worship designs. Todd Elliot and the FILO team, along with Jeff Sandstrom, Lee Fields, Andrew Stone, and the Mx U team share a passion for teaching that make even the most complex issues readily understandable and simple to apply."

According to Sutton, the advance of technology has made education more essential than ever today. "The industry continues to develop and create vast options of technologies that have expanded our visual tool kit," he says. "However, along with this great opportunity has come new challenges. This is especially true since lighting often has to fill a much wider variety of roles in today's worship environment, from traditional and contemporary services, to youth groups and special events, to concerts and broadcast studios -- the list goes on. The goal of these sessions is to give the folks in our community the knowledge and information they need to 'conquer these elements,' and take their designs to the next level."

The educational sessions will also provide participants with the chance to get hands-on experience with some of the latest Chauvet Professional fixtures. Among the products featured will be the Ovation E-930VW, Rogue R2 Wash VW, Maverick MK3 Profile and MK3 Spot; COLORado Solo Batten, ÉPIX Strip IP, and F6 Strip IP; as well as battery operated LED uplighting and aerial effects.

Stops on the educational tour include:
* Las Vegas, 4/21 -- Backstage with Alex Fuller
* Chicago, 5/18 -- Mx U
* Chicago, 5/19 -- Filo
* Chicago, 5/20 -- Filo
