Dataton and Show Sage, premium partner for North America, will be joining forces to exhibit at PLASA Focus: Austin 2013. On display will be Dataton WATCHOUT version 5.5 multi-image display and presentation software and WATCHPAX solid-state media server. The technologies will be integrated with Show Sage WATCH*Computers.

Jim Testa, president, Show Sage says: "Our joint trade show focus is to offer visitors an outstanding visual and hands-on experience of Dataton's innovative solutions, opening for their use in future projects. All technologies are backed up with Show Sage's advisory services, customer support, and Watchout training across North America."

Lars Sandlund, chief operating officer says: "The latest version of Watchout version 5.5 multi-image display and presentation software is the most reliable solution out there and certainly meets the growing demand for using technology in new and exciting ways for businesses to communicate their messages and engage, enthrall and inform audiences."

Watchout version 5.5 has a number of new features including hardware-assisted synchronization, frame blending, dynamic IP addressing of individual computers, cluster naming, and insertion of URL based images.

The Watchpax solid-state media server features embedded Watchout and optimized hardware, combined with a neat form factor and zero configuration.

A key feature of the booth will be a projection mapping demonstration that incorporates viewer interactivity. Integrating a Watchpax media server, Watchout Dynamic Image Server, a Show Sage WATCH*Book and an iPad control application, the setup will show how the power of Watchout can be used to bring a whole new dimension to projection mapping, the company says.

Also in the booth will be a presentation across a trio of screens that will be run by Show Sage WATCH*Computers. The presentation will be structured as a demonstration with which visitors can interact, jump to different parts of the show, and learn the different aspects of Watchout multi-image display and presentation software including its ability to integrate with DMX lighting, MIDI control, and a network camera.
