Martin Audio Announces North American Demo Tour

Martin Audio's WPC and WPM

Martin Audio announces a series of demos across America in 2018, starting with New York in March, featuring Wavefront Precision line arrays, new monitor XE wedges, and powered point source CDD-LIVE.

Already a fixture in major installations such as the First Pentecostal Church in Little Rock, Arkansas; Preston Trail Church in McKinney, Texas; and Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Wavefront Precision are multipurpose line arrays that bring Martin Audio's signature sound, coverage consistency, and control to a broader range of touring applications, installations, and budgets.

Wavefront Precision line arrays are designed as complete systems with external iKON multi-channel amplifiers and optimized by automated DISPLAY software. Featuring scalable resolution for a more flexible approach to optimization of control, coverage, and consistency, the greater the resolution of the array in terms of individually driven enclosures, the more precisely Martin Audio's optimization software - DISPLAY -- can fine-tune audience coverage and hold the frequency response and SPLs throughout the venue within a tight window specified by the user.

XE monitors were developed in consultation with leading monitor engineers and combine sleek, low-profile enclosures with unique Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology and a patent pending third static waveguide, designed to deliver perfect monitor sound with a defined coverage pattern that allows the artist freedom of movement, while reducing overlap with adjacent monitors.

Comprising three full-range models and two subwoofers, CDD-LIVE covers practically all professional stand-alone and distributed applications -- from sound reinforcement and monitoring for live bands, DJs and corporate events, to installations in dance clubs, ballrooms, theaters, and performing arts centers.

Combining the "point-source" benefits of coaxial designs with the consistent coverage of Differential Dispersion technology, CDD-LIVE full-range systems project sound evenly front-to-back while exhibiting wide horizontal coverage close to the speaker -- delivering ultimate fidelity and impact to all corners of the audience.

Onboard Class D amplification, DSP, and Dante digital audio networking assure simplicity of stage set-up and efficient installation, while tour-grade enclosures and comprehensive mounting options -- including pole mount, wall brackets, yokes, and rigging inserts -- provide maximum flexibility in deployment.

Announcing the demo tour, VP of sales, Lee Stein, commented, "We're excited to take our leading solutions on the road so more people can hear them and understand how they are the perfect partner for both rental companies and fixed installations."

The tour will take place in New York, Southern California, Las Vegas, Dallas, Milwaukee, Washington DC, Denver, and Orlando with details on the Martin Audio website.
