dBTechnologies' New Line Array T12 Now Shipping

After launching at the recent ProLight + Sound live sound dBTechnologies announces that the first batch of DVA T12 line array modules is now shipping. Claudio Ottani, head of R&D and designer of T12, was keen to make sure that the latest offering from the dBTechnologies stable lives up to its claims. Only after a comprehensive comparison test in the Italian company's outdoor test area would he finally sign off the initial batch. "I am confident that T12 offers a more powerful, lighter weight solution than our rivals," he says. "It sounds amazing, too!"

With an active three-way design featuring neodymium speakers and a total of 1,450W output power, T12 weighs in at just 64lbs. enabling the easy set up of very powerful systems that deliver extraordinary performance.

The digital amplifier at the heart of the T12 is Ottani's brainchild: digipro G2 which is the result of much R&D investment. Michael Herweg, sales and marketing director, explains, "Newer technology and better components were used to develop digipro G2 to enhance the performance and reduce the overall cost of the latest DVA module. And it has really worked. What is included in the price of T12 gets you a highly professional box for a third of what you might pay for a similar product from a competitor -- but with more features."

Far Eastern visitors to PALM Beijing will have seen the first T12 boxes on Chinese distributor, Sharp Dragon's booth, and Stateside customers will catch them at InfoComm in Orlando in June this year.

"Seven hundred DVA T12 boxes are leaving the factory now," says Herweg. "Just in time to rock the season. It's time for our customers to reap the benefits."
