Arena Q7 Zoom Latest High-Power PAR Wash Light in Elation Arena Series

Elation's Arena Series of energy-efficient RGBW PAR lights are wash luminaires designed for arenas, large or small. Theatre, studio, arena or stadium, these flexible wash lights can be used on stage applications of all types, making them the most versatile LED PAR fixtures Elation has offered to date, the company says.

The latest in the Arena Series is the Arena Q7 Zoom, a compact PAR wash light with motorized zoom that houses 7 x 10W RGBW LEDs for a broad selection of saturated color options including a genuine white. Color mixing is extremely smooth with a choice of 64 color macros available for fast programming.

Featuring a bright, well-defined beam, the Arena Q7 Zoom's efficient and fast 10° - 60° motorized zoom is capable of angling from wide to extremely tight for accurate beam angle control and greater design possibilities. Output is up to 47,500 LUX @ 3.3' (1m) with the 10° beam full on yet the fixture is energy-efficient, consuming 95W of total max power.

Billed for use as a key light, front light, or wash light, the Arena Q7 Zoom is capable of smooth dimming from 0% - 100% with stability throughout the range and also includes a selection of dimming curves. Other features include strobe and variable strobe macros.

The Arena Q7 Zoom is controllable via 3 DMX modes (7 / 9 / 15) and comes with a host of standard features like 5-pin XLR connections, as well as powerCON in/out connections. A 4-button control panel with LCD display makes for easy navigation through DMX and manual settings and an auto-sensing power supply covers worldwide voltages and frequencies, allowing the fixture to operate anywhere in the world, the company says.

The Arena Q7 Zoom operates flicker free for use in TV and other broadcast applications and an integrated dual rigging bracket allows it to be either rig mounted or stand on the floor. Its compact design allows users to use it as a truss toner, fitting into standard 12" truss. Multiple units can be easily linked together for quick, customizable setups and a long LED life rating of 50,000 hours means service intervals are few and far between. Housed in a durable die-cast aluminum casing, the Arena Q7 Zoom offers all the benefits of LED like greater reliability, less maintenance, and increased energy efficiency for a lower cost of ownership.
