Solotech Wins "A/V Production Company of the Year" at the 2019 Live Music Industry Awards

Montreal-based audiovisual and entertainment technology company Solotech has been awarded "A/V Production Company of the Year" at the prestigious Live Music Industry Awards. Held at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto and hosted by musician Kim Stockwood, the fourth edition of the Live Music Industry Awards took place on Friday, May 10th, as part of the 2019 Canadian Music Week (May 6th - 12th), one of the country's largest and most influential media and music conferences.

Created by Canadian Music Week in partnership with the International Festival Network (IFN) and Canadian Live Music Association, the Live Music Industry Awards honor outstanding festivals, venues, companies, productions, and individuals from Canada's live music business in 24 categories. This year's ceremony was attended by 350 people and included performances from Lu Kala and Datsunn.

Founded in 1977, Solotech has collaborated with various Canadian artists over the years, including Michael Bublé, Céline Dion, Metric, July Talk, and Véronic DiCaire. Solotech also ranks first in this month's Pro Sound News Centerstage Chart, a rundown of the crews and gear on the top ten highest-grossing tours of May 2019, for the current tour An Evening with Michael Bublé.
