Barco Expands Product Training Program Nationwide, Offering E2 Certification at Authorized Training Centers

Barco E2 4K screen management system

Barco, a provider of visualization technology, is establishing a national footprint for its factory certified training programs, collaborating with AV partners to provide a course for the E2 4K screen management system in select locations throughout the United States.

Barco is launching the expanded training program with its E2 courses, with plans to add additional classes at authorized training centers in Orlando, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; and, Las Vegas, Nevada. Orlando is an especially advantageous location because of its popularity as a business meeting destination and live show venue.

"With the immensely growing popularity of the new E2 screen management system, we want to ensure that our customers can quickly get up to speed on the product at a place and time that is convenient for them," comments Scott Nipper, technical training manager for Barco. "Based on our excellent relationships with Evolve Media Group and VER, we were able to quickly roll out courses to central locations to provide the certified training our users need."

The E2 Barco Certified Specialist course is a two-day event targeted to installation professionals, which covers the E2 processing system and its control software, the Event Master toolset software, and common use cases for such a system.

"We are pleased to partner with Barco to offer their factory certified training programs, as it fulfills our objective to train technicians in the latest AV technologies," comments Bob Murdock, director of video for Evolve Media Group. "We have provided certified Barco training to over 60 E2 operators so far, and look forward to offering additional product training courses in the future."

"We've enjoyed a successful collaboration with Barco for many years and look forward to expanding our business opportunities," comments Dave Deis, senior support engineer for VER. "As a new training center for E2, we're excited to offer Barco's innovative and cutting-edge technology to a wider audience."
