I. Weiss Launches Viawinch

I. Weiss introduces a new item in its Via-Line of motorized rigging products -- the Viawinch, a versatile midway solution between a manual hand crank and a high-end hoist that may provide more features than you really need.

The Viawinch is a single-line point hoist that offers a travel of 35' in about a minute, with soft start and stop guaranteeing controlled movement of lighting instruments and other mounted devices. With its compact size and weight, it is specifically constructed to be used in various orientations including; a deck winch, a clew-winch, or a grid-mounted point hoist. While utilizing a three phase brake motor with a high gearing ratio for extreme safety, the winch only requires single phase 120V 20A input power. The product has a payload of 800lbs.
