Stage Research, Inc. Announces New Pricing for Classrooms

Stage Research introduces new academic classroom site license pricing for SoftPlot and SFX. SoftPlot 9 is a CAD application specifically for lighting which allows plot lighting and management of paperwork for all levels of entertainment from theatre to film and TV. SFX is a live entertainment sound playback software application.

The new pricing model is designed to help schools stay within their budgets and outfit an entire classroom with current theatrical design software. A classroom of 25 workstations can all run SFX 6 Deluxe for $1950 or SoftPlot 9 for $1450.

"Educators are looking to give as many students access to the software as they can while remaining within often constrained budgets," says Carlton Guc. "Getting 10 or 15 students access to the software at the same time should not be cost prohibitive. With this new pricing model we're doing what we can to help schools stay current with technology and give the entire classroom access."
