Concert Stuff Group Acquires HD Flooring

Charlotte, North Carolina-based Concert Stuff Group (CSG) has acquired HD Flooring, the New Zealand-based provider of stadium and event flooring.

HD Flooring was founded in early 2020 by Craig Edwards, who brings over 15 years of experience in crowd management, barrier systems, and event safety. After a stint running barriers at a staging company, he joined Mojo Barriers Australia in 2012 as general manager. Further reaching, his career spans global tours and high-profile events, including project managing 1.5 miles of barrier at the G20 Summit in Brisbane, working as a barrier and carpentry tech on tours with Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and most recently serving as stage manager on Metallica's M72 World Tour.

As Concert Stuff Group's own company, G2 Structures, continues to build a large-scale operation in Australia and New Zealand, Edwards will play a key role in introducing the roof systems into the market. In 2024, the company experienced success across the continents with Luke Combs, as well as the cementing of a strategic partnership with Stage Set Australia/New Zealand.

Beyond flooring, Edwards' extensive background includes leadership in safeguard barriers, supplying over 90% of New Zealand's major concerts and festivals.

"This acquisition isn't just about products -- it's about expertise, relationships, and shared values," says JB Dolphin, managing director of Guardian Barrier Services. "HD Flooring's reputation for excellence and safety perfectly aligns with our vision to set new global standards in live event infrastructure. We have worked closely with Craig for many years, and he is a part of our family."

The deal will expand CSG's reach across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. This partnership also supports the launch of Guardian Barricades in Australia later this year -- bringing over .6 miles of barrier into the market alongside G2 Roof systems, ADA cable ramps, custom drapes, and temporary seating solutions.

"Joining Concert Stuff Group marks an exciting new chapter," says Edwards. "Together, we'll continue to deliver world-class solutions while investing in training the next generation of local experts. Our mission remains the same -- keeping crews safe, promoters confident, and fans thrilled."
