Peavey's MediaMatrix to Showcase SCION DSP Operation at ISE with Demo Peavey Commercial Audio's MediaMatrix division will show its SCION, its next-generation DSP, audio-over-IP and control platform, at ISE 2026, marking the first time the new system will be demonstrated publicly in a fully operational, end-to-end workflow. Visitors to the Peavey Commercial Audio stand will experience SCION driving a complete, real-world audio system incorporating Crest Audio loudspeakers and the new CiP loudspeaker range, showcasing the platform's processing power, routing flexibility and scalability for commercial, live and mission-critical environments. SCION represents the latest evolution of MediaMatrix's networked-audio architecture, delivering dramatically expanded input-through-output routing and processing possibilities, native AES67 streaming via sNET, enhanced control logic and full backward compatibility with the company's existing NION-based installations. Designed for airports, stadiums, hospitality, theme parks, convention centers and large enterprise estates, SCION brings a new performance tier for high-density audio and control applications, the company says. At ISE, the system will be presented running a live, fully configured demonstration showcasing how SCION integrates seamlessly with Crest Audio and the new, PoE, CiP loudspeaker line to create efficient, scalable, and networked audio systems. The demonstration will highlight SCION's advanced routing and configuration tools in distributed, zoned and performance-critical applications. Shayne Thomas, general manager, Peavey Commercial Audio, says: "Quite simply, SCION is the most powerful and future-ready DSP platform we have ever developed, and ISE 2026 is the perfect stage to demonstrate what it can do. Showing SCION in combination with our new, power over ethernet, CiP loudspeakers highlights how easily integrators can design scalable, consistent and fully networked audio systems for modern projects." He continues: "By combining the heritage of MediaMatrix with modern audio-over-IP workflows and a new generation of amplification and loudspeakers, we're giving consultants and integrators a toolkit that's equally at home in a single venue or a multi-site global deployment." In addition to the SCION, CG, and CiP demonstration, Peavey Commercial Audio's CPL+ loudspeaker range will also be on display at the stand. CPL+, which are now fully compliant with EASE and CLF2 software for designing perfect audio coverage, is already shipping and will be shown alongside the CG line, while the new CiP loudspeakers are scheduled for shipping towards the end of Q1 2026. MediaMatrix will also highlight the wider S-Series ecosystem, demonstrating how SCION integrates seamlessly with I/O modules, control interfaces and third-party devices to support complex installations and long-term investment protection. Visitors will be able to see SCION managing high-capacity AES67 audio distribution via the sNET module, alongside real-time system tuning, zone management and optimization through nWare, all reinforced by backward-compatible workflows that allow existing MediaMatrix infrastructure to evolve effortlessly, the company says. Peavey Commercial Audio will exhibit on Stand 7D680 at ISE 2026, taking place February 3-6 at Fira Barcelona.
