Elias Jr.'s MEGA Experience

Based in South Texas, DJ E-Li, whose real name is Elias Perez Jr., has been part of the live entertainment industry since 2008. He is the owner of DJ E-Li Entertainment, a mobile DJ company recognized for creating engaging event atmospheres through customized lighting and sound. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for delivering professional setups that combine music, visuals, and lighting to enhance weddings, quinceaneras, sweet sixteens, and private events across the region.

Perez has incorporated MEGA-LITE fixtures into his productions since 2014. To date, he has built a collection of more than 60 MEGA units, including lighting, control, and haze fixtures, all of which contribute to bringing vibrant energy and polished illumination to his events.

He describes the beginning of his relationship with MEGA-LITE as the start of a long-standing friendship. Early on, he would visit the company's warehouse to pick up equipment for a nightclub in his hometown, taking the opportunity to ask questions about the products. Each inquiry was met with detailed guidance and support. Arturo Cabada, MEGA-LITE's sales director, invited him to the demo room, where Perez saw firsthand the potential of DMX-controlled lighting, an experience that left a lasting impression.

Perez recalls that at the time, he promised himself he would save up to invest in a pair of Axis 7D5s. From that moment forward, he committed to continuously adding MEGA-LITE gear to his inventory and even began recommending and selling the brand's equipment to fellow DJs and production companies.

Reflecting on his use of MEGA-LITE products, Perez shares:

"Everything I own from MEGA is quality stuff! It's built very well and made to last. The performance of each moving head is great and always does its job. But, you need to also learn how to take care of the equipment and do your normal maintenance/cleaning on it, so that each time, the light can perform as expected. The road cases I have the lights in are built solid and the padding protects the investments."
