Absen Offers the Absen Certified Engineer Program

The Absen Certified Engineers Program is designed for engineers, technicians, and freelancers working in the event production industry to provide familiarity with LED display operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This is a non-profit program offered free of charge. To start, this program is for rental and staging industry professionals only, with a focus on non-fixed flexible LED displays.

Absen offers a full range of training courses and hands-on practice opportunities for trainees. At the end of the training, there will be both written test and hands-on operation test, and trainees who pass the test with a score of 80 (100 scale) or above will be awarded a certificate of Absen certified engineer.

Eligible applicants:
1. Technical staff from Absen customers in the rental and staging industry
2. Full-time technicians and engineers from a rental and staging or event production company. (A letter of full-time employment confirmation is required.)
3. Freelance technicians and engineers with a letter of recommendation from a rental and staging or event production company.

This training program is offered free of charge and all participants cover their own travel, food, and accommodation expenses.

Training dates: March 5 - 7, 2014
Location: Absen American Inc., 7703 Kingspointe Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32819

Registration is open through February 25, 2014.

Training schedule:
Day 1 -- LED screen basic operation technology
Day 2 -- Advanced LED screen application
Day 3 -- Absen worldwide reference case video control technology study, test, and certificate awarding ceremony
