American DJ Announces Free Wireless Remote Controller Promotion

American DJ is making it easy for DJs, mobile entertainers, and other lighting users to "go wireless." The company is giving away a free ADJ LED RC wireless remote controller with the purchase of one of five compatible LED par fixtures: Mega Par Profile, Flat Par CWWW9, Flat Par CWWW18, Flat Par TRI7, or Flat Par TRI18.

Anyone who purchases one of the above qualifying fixtures between November 15 and December 31, will receive an ADJ LED RC wireless infrared remote free of charge (a value of $24.95). The ADJ LED RC is a handheld unit that allows users to control fixtures wirelessly from distances up to 30' providing such functions as blackout, program selection, RGB color adjustment, strobing, DMX addressing, DMX mode, sound-active-mode and more.

"We want to encourage more of our customers to get connected to wireless lighting," said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for American DJ. "So we're giving them this opportunity to put our popular ADJ LED RC remote controller in their hands at absolutely no charge - and get acquainted with some great new LED lighting fixtures at the same time."

The five qualifying fixtures are all remote-controllable via the ADJ LED RC:

* Mega Par Profile is a compact low-profile DMX RGB par with design that allows it to sit directly on the ground without brackets, making it suitable for uplighting and mounting inside truss.

* Flat Par CWWW9 and Flat Par CWWW18 are warm white/cool white LED pars wit the same "go bracketless" design, which can produce variable temperatures from 3,400 degrees K to 7,400 degrees K, allowing users to dial up shades of white ranging from a warm tungsten glow to the coolest daylight. The Flat Par CWWW9 features nine 3W LEDs (four cool white and five warm white), while the Flat Par CWWW18 has 18 3W LEDs (nine cool white and nine warm white).

* Flat Par TRI7 and Flat Par TRI18 are low-profile par cans powered by three-in one RGB TRI LEDs (seven 3W LEDs in the TRI7, and eighteen 3W LEDs in the TRI18). Because each LED source is comprised of three different colors -- red, green and blue -- the units provide ultra-smooth color mixing with no distractive RGB shadows.

In order to qualify for the free wireless controller promotion, purchases of the qualifying fixtures must be made at an authorized American DJ dealer between November 15 and December 31, 2011. Customers are required to fill out an official wireless control promotion form, which can be downloaded from the American DJ website.
