PSNI 2012 Board of Directors: Mike Landrum, Technical Innovation; Mark Gottwig, Delta AV; Andrew Sellers, Sensory Technologies; Laura Moorhead, Blue Sky Integrated Technologies; David Lopez, Industrial AV; and Stuart Allen, Allen Visual Systems.

Professional Systems Network International (PSNI) elected key audiovisual industry leaders to its 2012 board of directors at the stockholders meeting in San Antonio, Texas, February 15. The meeting was held in conjunction with Supersummit '12, an annual education and networking conference held exclusively for PSNI affiliates.

"2012 is going to be a high-energy year for PSNI with new members and new programs," said Mike Landrum, outgoing PSNI president who becomes past-president and membership chairman. "We have the right group leading the way. We are fortunate this group of high-caliber leaders has volunteered to serve, and we are confident our 32 affiliates will benefit from their industry expertise and vision."

The 2012 PSNI board:

Mike Landrum, chief executive officer, Technical Innovation, Norcross, Georgia
Landrum, 2010-2011 president of PSNI, will serve as immediate past-president and membership chairman. He has been a member of the PSNI board of directors since 2008 and has been a PSNI affiliate since 2004. The past-president is also the chairman of the long range planning committee as well as serving in the absence of the president.

Mark Gottwig, president of Delta AV, Gresham, Oregon
Gottwig was elected 2012 president of the PSNI board of directors and will serve a two-year term. He has served on the PSNI board since 2008 in a variety of roles. The president's responsibilities include supervising PSNI staff, appointing committees, and serving as chairman of the nomination committee.

Andrew Sellers, operating principal, Sensory Technologies, Indianapolis, Indiana
Sellers, newly elected PSNI vice president, has been a board member since 2010 as member-at-large and as secretary. The vice-president is the chairman of the image enhancement and marketing committee of the network in addition to serving as chairman of the preferred vendor partner committee. Sensory Technologies has been an affiliate of PSNI since 2008.

Laura Moorhead, principal and director of sales and operations, Blue Sky Integrated Technologies, Seattle, Washington
Moorhead will serve on the 2012 PSNI board of directors in the capacity of secretary. The secretary is the chair of the surveys and market intelligence committee as well as the program committee of the network. She has been an affiliate of PSNI since 2008.

Stuart Allen, principal of Allen Visual Systems, Buffalo Grove, Illinois
Allen was elected treasurer of the 2012 board of directors. The treasurer is the chair of the finance committee in addition to overall financial status of the organization. This is Allen's first position with the board. Allen Visual Systems has been a PSNI affiliate since 2002.

David Lopez, vice president and director of operations, Industrial AV, Houston, Texas
Lopez was appointed by the out-going board of directors to serve in the role of member-at-large for 2012. The member-at-large is the chairman of the standardization and education committee. Industrial AV has been a PSNI affiliate since 2002.

During the stockholders meeting, PSNI executive director, Christopher Miller, presented new affiliate benefits. One of those benefits is a new PSNI website under development that will highlight the work of affiliates and call attention to individual and PSNI network successes. A new tool being developed by the PSNI executive staff is a customer survey tool that will allow affiliates to gain valuable feedback from customers upon completion of projects.

PSNI affiliates will also benefit from an expanded marketing communications team that will assist PSNI and individual affiliates with content strategies and creation. In addition, as part of the AVEdNet education series of programs and webinars, PSNI will host Project Management X-Treme, an advanced course for project managers taught by industry expert Nadim Sawaya, in conjunction with NSCA. The course will be hosted at the Belden headquarters facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Formed in 1986, PSNI brings together selected best-in-class integrators (affiliates) who share a common commitment to ensure the highest standards and integrity of the industry. Ongoing continued education focused on client-centered solutions and best practice sharing ensures PSNI affiliates continue working independently and collectively through the PSNI Enhanced Service Network (ESNet) to deliver an exceptional customer experience, regardless of the location of the client.
