Listen Technologies Corporation, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of assistive listening products for over 16 years, is a proud sponsor of the Women in AV (WAVE) Mentor Awards, and is encouraging industry professionals to submit entries in the current round of nominations, which ends Friday, April 24, 2015. Women in AV (WAVE) is a global organization dedicated to promoting the growth and performance of women in the AV industry through education, networking, and mentoring. This award recognizes a woman in the AV industry that exemplifies the important contributions they have made to the mentees they have impacted. Each year, WAVE honors a female AV professional who has distinguished herself within the industry by guiding, supporting, and promoting the career development of others. The deadline for accepting submissions is Friday, April 24, 2015 at 5:00pm PDT, and the nomination form and nomination criteria is available through the link below. This will be the fourth annual award WAVE has given out to a deserving woman and finds itself back at the very place it all started in Orlando 2012. Sponsored by Listen Technologies, the award recipient is honored each year at the WAVE/NSCA/FSR/ExhibitOne reception, which will be held this year on Wednesday, June 18, at the House of Blues. Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director, says, "It's been an honor to serve as a judge for this program. Mentoring is so important to me and for the future of our industry. As I've gotten to know each of the past recipients and my fellow judges better, I realize how important this award really is and reflected in the continued success and expertise we see in all the nominees.
