Calibre UK Appoints Gordon Laverick as Channel Sales Executive

Gordon Laverick

Calibre UK announces the appointment of Gordon Laverick as channel sales executive for its professional and broadcast ranges of products including HQView, LEDView, PremierViewPro, VideoExcel, and FoveaHD. The company has created the role with a view to strengthening support of its world-wide distribution partner program.

With over 20 years' experience in technical sales environments, Laverick moves into the pro-AV business after working in a number of related fields such as IT, telecoms, networking, and test and measurement.

"I've been doing channel management for a number of years and have acquired a lot of experience building distribution and sales networks on an international scale," comments Laverick.

"Calibre UK is a great company with great people -- and working with people is what I really like doing. This job represents a refreshing change of technology and market for me, and I can't wait to get started!"

Tim Brooksbank, chairman, Calibre UK adds: "Gordon's appointment gives us the chance to bring a fresh approach to our channel management. Bringing in someone from a different industry will give us a different perspective on our own markets and, more generally, on how to drive our business forward."

"Whether it is managing our existing distributors and partners or selecting new ones to carry our products, we believe Gordon will give us just the stimulus we need to build on what has already been a very successful last couple of years for Calibre UK."
