Green Hippo Adds New Managers

Simon Harris

Green Hippo has added several new managers to its staff, promoting one experience manager and one product manager from within while bringing in a new general manager from the internet technology sector.

Simon Harris, has been with Green Hippo for more than six years, first joining as part of the sales team in a company of six, Harris quickly took on the role of head of training, being at the forefront of world-class training.

This December, Harris takes on a new role as user experience manager. He now manages the interaction between users and the products, bridging the gap between end-users and development.

Ryan Brown, who joined the company just over a year ago, making his debut at the 2012 PLASA show London, started as a product specialist, also working with support and testing. After quickly establishing himself as a confident and technical individual, matched with his character, he has been promoted to the role of product manager. Brown now manages the production and development of all Hippotizer products and looks forward to the coming year.

"Working at Green Hippo continues to be a fantastic opportunity for me as well as being great fun. The wide variety of users worldwide, as well as the fast pace of AV technology, makes sure the job of managing the development of Hippotizer is never boring."

Emma Marlow also joins Green Hippo as general manager, handling the day-to-day and long-term running of the business. Marlow joins the company after previously working in fast-growth IT, telecoms, and consulting companies.

"Green Hippo is a pedigree company in an exciting and evolving industry, and I'm thrilled to be helping Green Hippo evolve and expand to the next stage," Marlow says. There is a deep technical ability and a love for the industry in the people that can't be faked or copied."
