John Hooper Appointed Application System Specialist for A.C. ProMedia A.C. ProMedia, distributor of state-of-the-art products and solutions aimed at the commercial and pro-AV installation markets, announces the appointment of John Hooper as application system specialist. Reporting to Chris McHardy, technical services manager for both A.C. ProMedia and A.C. Lighting Inc., Hooper will be responsible for providing technical support, demo products, and technical implementation solutions for the companies' clients and sales representatives. He will cover all brands, especially AV brands, AUDAC, Harvey, Luminex, and LumenRadio for both the USA and Canada. With audio, video, and live production experience, Hooper brings a balanced mix of technical skills to A.C. ProMedia's technical services team. Hooper has an overall understanding of system integration and technical know-how. He has a background in electrical and information technology, holding his diploma in electronics and programming. Hooper brings experience as a support technician having implemented a range of technologies involving the use of the newest hardware in project design. He is in the final stages of completing his education in an electronic engineering technician program and has a BA in fine arts film production. Previously, Hooper has worked as a technical services coordinator as well as digital video technician and has some experience in sound editing.
