Zylight Ships F8-200 LED Fresnel

Zylight's F8-200 LED Fresnel

Zylight, a manufacturer of innovative, premium LED lighting solutions, announces its F8-200 LED Fresnel is now shipping. Brighter than a 400W HMI Fresnel and almost as bright as a 2,000W tungsten fixture, the new "Brighter Flat Fresnel" can be powered by AC or optional Zylight RAWPower dual battery module, which uses two off-the-shelf 14.4V standard Gold Mount or V-Mount batteries of 8A or more.

"The F8-200 features our quantum dot technology to produce refined, balanced, and natural looking light," said Joe Arnao, president of Zylight. "It delivers the brightness our customers need on location and in the studio, and with our proprietary dual battery configuration, power is as simple as two standard camera bricks."

Built on the same chassis as Zylight's award-winning F8-100, the F8-200 collapses to less than 5" thick for easy transport and storage. It is water resistant (IP54) for use in challenging weather conditions. The F8-200 also allows full DMX operation and includes built-in ZyLink wireless technology, so multiple Zylights can be linked for simultaneous remote control.

Available in tungsten (3,200K) or daylight (5,600K) versions, the F8-200 offers a high CRI (Color Rendering Index) and TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index). It features an 8" (12.5cm) SCHOTT glass lens for traditional Fresnel beam shaping, as well as an adjustable beam spread (16- to 70-degrees) and patented focusing system for spot and flood operations.

The F8-200 ships with barn doors, yoke, AC supply, and bracket.
