Penn Elcom Launches New Corporate Movie

Penn Elcom has released a new corporate video, its first in 14 years.

The video, available as a five-and-a-half-minute super-cut and a three-minute highlights reel, focuses on the company's worldwide manufacturing.

According to an official statement, "Penn Elcom has leaned into investments in skilled people and smart technologies that have helped revolutionize the process of designing and producing flight cases, industry-standard 19" racking solutions, and loudspeakers for the pro audio and AV markets, which is illustrated in the movie."

The geographical positioning advantages of Penn Elcom's multiple bases are also noted in the footage.

Product design and R&D are rooted in the UK, which, together with China, also hosts near-identical manufacturing facilities. Penn started working in China over two decades ago and is now a well-established employer there.

The sales and distribution operations are based in the UK, Asia, and Australia, designed to to supply quickly, efficiently, and sustainably everywhere on the planet.

The video highlights how investment in the latest software, CNC machinery, and robots is assisting staff to optimize output and results.

While modernization has been a key focus since 2012, when the last video was made, some machines from then are still going strong today, working in conjunction with a host of new technology, the company says.

The video shows how the company has grown steadily in the last 14 years, even during COVID, when time was used to overhaul and streamline processes, embrace new technology, and refine manufacturing and distribution.

A milestone achievement was reached in 2024 with the company's 50th anniversary, also touched on in the movie. Penn was founded in 1974 by Roger Willems, initially as a metals and anodizing specialist.

The statement adds, "With over 50 years in the business, Penn Elcom's business model is grounded in strong and lasting partnerships, and it has become a well-known, trusted, and forward-thinking brand with a reputation for reliability and a place where teamwork, know-how, collaboration, and communication thrive."

This video also illustrates the company's philosophy of empowering clients with the implementation of award-winning software packages like Case Designer 2 and Panel Designer, which, together with an extensive e-commerce website/shop and major online presence, are intended to ensure Penn Elcom continues to stay at the forefront of the entertainment industry.
