American Music & Sound Names Michael Sipe to Head Western Region Sales for Allen & Heath

Michael Sipe, Allen & Heath

American Music & Sound (AM&S) has named industry veteran Michael Sipe as western regional sales manager. Sipe will promote and train AM&S's roster of music creation and pro audio products to dealers and reps alike. Having spent the better part of his career in the signal-processing realm, Sipe is, in a way, returning to his roots. "This new position is taking me back on track with what I like -- being out in the pro audio world, connecting, and working with customers and clients." An accomplished musician, with a degree from the Berklee School, Sipe states: "I was always the guy in the band that knew how all the gear went together and worked."

Sipe's career arc has born this innate talent out with project manager, field representative, integrated systems lead, and technical sales manager positions for companies including BC Electronics, Digital Sound Systems, and ShowCore Inc. In his new position, Sipe will be based out of Kansas City reporting to AM&S vice president Michael Palmer and Lynn Martin, president of AM&S. "This is a very unique and dynamic company in that I have direct access to the VP and president at anytime. Lynn Martin has fostered an environment of open communication which was very attractive to me, and one that I value highly," he shares. Sipe's territory will cover the western US. When asked about this territory, Sipe is nothing short of enthusiastic, stating: "I like to meet the customer at their level of understanding, no matter where they are, and build the relationship from there. We get to dive into the technology together."
