Adamson Powers Vybz Kartel's Toronto Debut

The system included 21 VGt boxes per side, 32 EE119 flown subs per side, with outfill provided by 15 VGt units per side.

Dancehall singer Vybz Kartel took the stage in Toronto for the first time. Presented by OVO Sound, the performance drew a full house of fans eager of three sold-out nights to see one of Jamaica's most influential artists make his Canadian debut.

The high-energy show was supported by a full Adamson loudspeaker system, delivering clear coverage across the venue. Clair Global provided full audio support, deploying an Adamson loudspeaker system to deliver clean, even coverage throughout the venue. The system was managed by systems engineering and crew chief Valdrian Sulejmani, with mixing duties handled by Demetrius Moore and Aaron Booth.

The system included 21 VGt boxes per side, 32 EE119 flown subs per side, with outfill provided by 15 VGt units per side. The 270 hang featured 16 CS10s, with front fill provided by eight CS10s and side fill by three S10ns and four E119s per side. An Adamson Gateway was used at the front of house.

In a statement, the company says, "The Adamson setup supported Kartel's dynamic performance with a tight, impactful mix that carried evenly across the space. The result was a standout first Toronto performance for one of dancehall's most influential artists and a strong showcase of the collaboration between OVO's production team, Clair Global, and Adamson technology."
