TEK-UT Universal Transcoder from TEKVOX Wins Commercial Integrator BEST Award

TEXVOX announces that its TEK-UT Universal Translator has been given a 2015 Commercial Integrator BEST Award in the Dealer/Installation Aids category of Programming, Design & Engineering Solutions. The Commercial Integrator BEST Awards program highlights the most outstanding new products, solutions and services that could impact the commercial integration industry in 2015.

The BEST Awards winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts, integrators, and the editors of Commercial Integrator magazine and announced at InfoComm 2015. Criteria for the winning products included innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, and benefits to the installer.

"We're very proud that TEK-UT has been named a recipient of a CI BEST Award," says Jim Reinhart, CEO of TEKVOX. "This special edition of our popular TEK 2 intelligent room controller enables programming-free replacement of projectors or displays with legacy control systems. It gives A/V integrators flexibility in system upgrades and opens up new opportunities for owners of legacy systems and the integrators that support them. We're so pleased that Commercial Integrator has recognized our unique new product."

"The goal of CI BEST Awards, as with all of CI's content, is to offer information that can help integrators become more efficient and more profitable, and we think these innovative products do just that," says Commercial Integrator editor-in-chief Tom LeBlanc.

TEKVOX is a private Texas company offering unique A/V control technology that brings affordability, capability, and reliability to audio/visual applications in teaching, training, meeting, and interactive collaboration. Applying state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise management (EMS) technologies, the company says TEKVOX's distributed, networked solutions dramatically change the cost of acquiring and operating A/V-rich facilities.
