ALPS Lights 100th Birthday Celebration for Boston Children's Museum

The Boston Children's Museum marked its 100th birthday with a weekend of festivities and Advanced Lighting and Production Services (ALPS) provided the lighting for many outdoor and indoor events. ALPS design included an illumination display on the outside of the museum building, an outdoor ground support truss/lighting rig for a 400 person Boston Children's Choir concert, lighting support for their gala at the Intercontinental Hotel ballroom (where guests could view the lighted museum building across the channel), as well as lighting for the gala after-party back inside the museum. The ALPS production team included lighting designers Dan Clawson and Alex Bombard-Fitch and programmer Chris Flynn. The event designer was Peter Agoos, and the event production manager was Linda O'Brien.
