Adamson Systems Engineering announces the expansion of its North American support team. Richard Woida has joined the US applications group to reinforce Adamson's growing client base in the United States. Scott Shields has been hired as sales and marketing coordinator, working out of the Canadian headquarters.

James Oliver, director of marketing and sales notes, "We're a company that's driven by the love of audio and not by financial investors. We've grown organically by bringing in individuals of the highest character and technical skill. Both Richard and Scott fit the mold and they're perfectly suited to support and continue to grow our rapidly expanding user base."

Woida has spent the last six years working in professional audio in Dubai, UAE. During his time there he was a systems specialist for Clair Brothers Audio Systems through NMK Electronics and head of the audio department at Lighthouse Production Middle East. His education includes an audio production and engineering degree from the Institute of Production and Recording, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Woida is currently based out of Minneapolis, working with director of US operations Mick Whelan. As an applications engineer he is tasked with providing technical and design support to Adamson's North American customers.

"It is an exciting time to work for a company that continues to raise the bar for professional audio," Woida adds. "Adamson products provide the technology, versatility, and audio quality that the industry demands. It's a pleasure to join their team."

Shields received a degree in mechanical engineering/product design from Georgian College. He came to Adamson after working as a PA rental administrator at The Arts Music Store located in Newmarket, Ontario. His responsibilities in his new role include managing the production schedule, liaising with customers and interfacing with the Adamson team. His exceptional customer service experience and organizational acumen will be a benefit in his new position.

"I love music and design and to be able to find a company that is leading the market is incredible. I'm joining a company growing on all fronts and couldn't be more excited." Shield concludes.
