The ride this year included 19 bikes, two chase cars and two ferries ( a first for the LRLR). There were seven Harleys, six Hondas, four BMWs and two Suzukis.

The top ten sites visited by the LRLR this year were:

10) The Salish Sea
9) The "Octopus" Tree
8) Mt. St Helens
7) The Strait of Georgia
6) Cape Meares
5) Crown Point and the Columbia River Gorge (a tie)
4) Cape Flattery
3) Oregon Shakespeare Festival
2) Mt. Rainier
1) Crater Lake

The ride, which was dubbed Ninth by Northwest by ride coordinators Greg Williams and Alice Neff, covered over 2,000 land miles and 52 nautical knots. In a new development, two chase car drivers got some motorcycle time during the ride.

The Long Reach Long Riders would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's ride a resounding success. Donations are being accepted up to August 31. See the URL listed below for more information.

The 10th annual (2013) Long Reach Long Rider charity motorcycle ride will take place in the Great Lakes region. Please check the website in the coming months for route, dates, registration, and donation information.
