Technotrix Announces Leadership Continuity Following the Passing of Founder Kevin KieferTechnotrix, Inc. has formally announced the passing of its founder and long-time owner, Kevin Kiefer, and affirms the company's continuance under its established leadership team. "Kiefer founded Technotrix in the early 1990s, building the company from a small, garage-based operation into a respected production partner serving concerts, festivals, and touring clients throughout the Midwest and across the US," the company says. "His vision, work ethic, and commitment to delivering reliable production solutions laid the foundation for the company's long-term success." In the early years, Kiefer played a hands-on role in developing the Technotrix brand, investing in equipment, building client relationships, and establishing the company's reputation within the live event industry. As the business grew, he shifted his focus toward ownership and strategic oversight, supporting the development of internal departments and empowering emerging leaders within the organization. Over the past decade, encouraged and led by Kiefer, Technotrix has operated under a distributed leadership model, with senior executives assuming responsibility for day-to-day operations, client management, and production execution. This transition occurred well in advance of Kevin's passing, ensuring operational continuity and long-term stability. Today, Technotrix is led by a seasoned executive team: Brent Bernhardt, vice president -- overseeing audio and lighting operations, client relationships, and strategic growth; Andy Kuhlmann, vice president -- leading staging, and logistics, and production execution; Patrick McKibben, CFO -- responsible for finance, administration, and organizational structure. "Kevin built something that all of us were proud to be a part of," says the Technotrix leadership team. "Over the years, he trusted us to take on more responsibility and helped create a company that could stand on its own. We're focused on continuing that work and building on the foundation he created while moving the company forward."
