Scott Price, ProPlus sales director at Sapsis Rigging, teamed up with IATSE Local 16 for Local 16's annual Fall Arrest Training session at the Moscone Center. ProPlus, the only full line of fall arrest equipment designed by and for entertainment industry professionals, provided an opportunity for the stagehands to learn proper harness choice, inspection, and use.

The stagehands, working under the supervision of Local 16 trainers Ed Munger, Paul Shepard, and Brien Burroughs, also practiced a number of rescue scenarios using a variety of ProPlus equipment and techniques and they worked with the ProPlus line of self-retracting lifelines.

Danny Borelis, Local 16 vice president and training director, organized the training class. "Sapsis Rigging is thrilled to work with Local 16 on this project," noted Price. "We're hoping to continue this program with other locals around the country."
