Ape Labs USA Launches Marvel Pix Wash for Professional Wireless Event Lighting

Ape Labs USA's Marvel Pix Wash is a professional battery-powered LED wash fixture designed to provide wide, even coverage while reducing the cabling and setup demands associated with traditional event-lighting systems.

Designed for stages, dance floors, backdrop lighting, venues, and mobile event production, the unit produces 162W of output through nine individually controllable 18W pixel LEDs. Its RGB, lime, warm white, and cool white LED configuration provides flexible color mixing and clean white output, while 150-degree optics create broad, even coverage, the company says.

The fixture can be wirelessly controlled via a single RF remote, the Ape Labs Connect App, CRMX, and/or wireless DMX.

Ape Labs designed the Marvel Pix Wash to reduce the time and infrastructure required to deploy, control, and break down a lighting system.

Every Ape Labs product can communicate with every other Ape Labs product, controlled with the same Ape Labs remote or CONNECT app; when the one-button light show is enabled, compatible Ape Labs products automatically work together to create a coordinated light show.

The Marvel Pix Wash incorporates a 96Wh rechargeable battery capable of approximately eight hours of operation at standard output, with longer runtimes available at reduced output levels. Continuous AC operation is also supported.

Additional features include an IP65-rated aluminum housing for indoor and outdoor applications, fanless operation, flicker-free dual-drive LED control for video applications, automatic wireless signal repeating, cloud-based setup storage, and multiple DMX channel modes for pixel-level control.

Like the broader Ape Labs product line, the Marvel Pix Wash is manufactured in Germany and supported by Ape Labs USA's three-year warranty. The fixture is available individually, in sets, and as part of a four-fixture TourBox system.
