In Memoriam: Steven EhrenbergLighting&Sound America has learned of the death of Steven Ehrenberg, a well-known and respected member industry play who was involved in many major projects over the last several decades. At the time of his death, Ehrenberg was principal and owner of Eberg Stage Solutions, a firm involved in both consulting on and managing a variety of live performance productions, theatrical building renovations, and new theatre construction. Previously, he was the director of production at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn and director of technical production for Ambassador Theatre Group, North America. Before joining Kings Theatre, he served as vice president of technical supervision at Live Nation's theatrical division and vice president of technical production at Base Entertainment. He was involved in renovation and building projects including The Colonial Theatre in Boston; Broadway's Hudson Theatre, Kings Theatre, Boston Opera House, Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre, The Theatres at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Theatres on the Kotai Strip in Macau, The Phantom Las Vegas Theatre, The Jersey Boys Theatre at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood's Las Vegas, and many other theatrical and music projects and productions.
