Cadac Announces Brazilian Distribution at ExpoMusic Debut

Decomac directors, Guillermo Distefano and Omar Diaz Blasco, and Cadac international sales manager, Ben Millson

Cadac has announced the appointment of regional pro audio distributor, Decomac, for the Brazilian market, following a highly successful brand debut at ExpoMusic Brazil in Sao Paulo.

The agreement was finalized prior to the exposition where Cadac's new CDC Eight digital console was the central exhibit on the Decomac stand, attracting interest from the region's top rental and sound production companies, and sound engineers.

Cadac international sales manager, Ben Millson, was in attendance to cement the agreement and introduce Cadac's new range of digital and analog consoles -- the CDC Eight, CDC Four, S-Type, and LIVE1. "Decomac attracted our attention some moths ago, due to their strong market position and a great product portfolio that only lacked a leading console brand; Cadac is in good company, within a lineup that includes d&b, DAS, Lab Gruppen, Lake, Jands, and Antari. The company covers multiple market sectors, from the pro audio retail channel to the top end of the sound touring and installation markets. Their sales network is among the best and most experienced in Brazil; with most reps having a good background as live sound engineers with some of Brazil's greatest artists."

"Decomac also works very closely with Macaio, our distributor in Argentina and Chile, which enables us to cover the three main South American markets exceptionally well, providing highly integrated product support and customer service," Millson continued.

Cadac's ExpoMusic debut was a big success for Decomac, with the CDC Eight particularly attracting major attention. "We had multiple hire and production companies on the stand who were all very impressed with the consoles. We also had the country's top sound engineers come onto the stand repeatedly, who were all especially taken with the CDC Eight," added Millson.

Commenting on the reaction to the Cadac console range at the show, Decomac directors, Guillermo Distefano and Omar Diaz Blasco, stated, "Cadac's reputation is legendary, in terms of its signature sound quality and its worldwide domination of the theatre sound market. But the new console range goes far beyond that, and the reaction of all of the country's leading sound engineers and sound companies, who all came onto our stand to see the desks, is testament to what Cadac has achieved in offering something truly remarkable. The CDC Eight was definitely the star attraction of the show. We took Cadac on because it clearly offers superior performance and development potential. All indicators point to a highly successful future for the company in our markets."
