BenQ America Corp. Inks Deal with ASI

BenQ America Corp. has signed a distribution agreement with ASI. A distributor of computer components and peripherals to over 20,000 value-added resellers (VAR) throughout North America, ASI is now carrying BenQ's entire line of high-performance projectors and LED backlight monitors, in addition to providing training and technical support.

"A big advantage of adding BenQ to our product lineup is that the company offers monitors and projectors that specifically address the unique needs of a variety of vertical markets," said Kent Tibbils, vice president of marketing at ASI. "We have a very large base of customers across industries ranging from corporate and education to home entertainment. Eric Hass, BenQ director of IT distribution, agrees that the partnership will be mutually beneficial. "Through this partnership, we gain access to ASI's impressive network of resellers and are able to leverage their unmatched expertise in the IT market," Hass said. "Both of these factors will be instrumental as we continue to increase the market penetration of our projectors and displays in North America."
