Bandit Lites Welcomes Two New Interns to the Team

(l-r) Kyla Kirby and Magy Fawzi

Bandit Lites has announced that they have welcomed two office interns, Magy Fawzi and Kyla Kirby, to the team. In between classes at their respective universities, Fawzi and Kirby have been offering their skills to different Bandit departments, growing and learning more about the professional world of production and live entertainment in the process.

At the Nashville office, Fawzi has taken on the role of IT intern. Fawzi is currently a junior majoring in computer information systems at Middle Tennessee State University. She offers fresh perspectives to the IT department and helps them with various tasks, including network cabling, vector works and developing and testing new information systems.

Fawzi mentions that since she started at Bandit, she has noticed just how detailed the work culture is. "Because a lot of the company's work is live productions, it is important [to do] things right the first time," she says. "I've noticed how important communication is, especially when working with different departments."

During her time thus far at the company, Fawzi has been involved in numerous projects where she has encountered several real-world situations that have taught her a lot about production.

"It has been a valuable experience because I'm constantly learning," she says.

In Knoxville, Bandit expanded their marketing team by hiring Kirby as a marketing intern.

Kirby is a senior at the University of Tennessee studying journalism and information science. She has been involved in developing the new Bandit Lites website and social media content creation, among other tasks.

"There is a lot that goes into the work Bandit does, so I have had the chance to get involved in a lot of different projects," Kirby says. "The variety and fast-paced environment make the work incredibly gratifying."

At the company's Annual General Meeting in January, Kirby received the first ever "Best Intern Award" at Bandit Lites.

"I was so surprised when my name was called," says Kirby. "I got up there and I was super flustered, but it felt good to have my effort recognized."

Through working on various projects, Kirby got an up-close look into the work culture at Bandit.

"I have been able to learn so much while I have been at Bandit," Kirby says. "Everybody has also been very welcoming and helpful. You can tell everyone here is passionate about what they do and doing it right."

In June of 2026, Kirby has been brought on to Bandit's full-time team and is now working as an administrative analyst.
