American Psycho, Justin Townsend are Big Design Winners at Drama Desk Awards

The winners of the 2016 Drama Desk Awards were announced June 5 and presented at The Town Hall. American Psycho led the design categories with awards for Outstanding Projection Design (Finn Ross), Outstanding Sound Design for a Musical (Dan Moses Schreier), and Outstanding Lighting Design for a Musical (Justin Townsend). Townsend was also presented with the award for Outstanding Lighting Design for a Play, for The Humans.

In addition, Christopher Oram took the award for Outstanding Set Design for a Play for Hughie, David Rockwell's design for She Loves Me took the award for Outstanding Set Design for a Musical, Anita Yavich took the award for Outstanding Costume Design for a Play for The Legend of Georgia McBride, Ann Roth's won for Outstanding Costume Design for a Musical with Shuffle Along, or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed, and Fitz Patton won the award for Outstanding Sound Design of a Play for The Humans<.i> For more information on the Drama Desk Awards, visit the URL below.
