ETC Automated Fixtures Now Integrate Wireless Control with City Theatrical Multiverse Connect Module

ETC announces that select High End Systems fixtures can now be used with City Theatrical's Multiverse Connect Module, 2.4GHz. This small device brings all the capabilities of Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM on the 2.4 GHz band to a lighting fixture with the Universal Connect Module socket built into it. The chassis of the device plugs into the fixture, and with a few menu changes, the fixture becomes wireless. Currently, the Connect Module is available for purchase with Lonestar Prime, MegaPix, and GigaPix.

"With this new option, we're excited to make wireless control accessible to our customers when they want it," says Tania Lesage, ETC market manager. "This addition to our accessory line-up builds on ETC's longstanding partnership with City Theatrical for reliable wireless control solutions."

"After extensive evaluation of wireless solutions for mission-critical lighting applications, ETC chose Multiverse for its reliability. ETC now has a significant base of fixtures leveraging Multiverse wireless technology, and the addition of Connect Module-ready fixtures expands that ecosystem even further," says Keegan Hitz, director of OEM partnerships at City Theatrical. "By enabling wireless capability through the Multiverse Connect Module platform, ETC is giving users a flexible path to adopt Multiverse across a broader range of fixtures while maintaining the reliability and performance they expect."

Multiverse Connect Modules include seamless RDM integration and can be configured through the host fixture's UI/RDM. The Multiverse Connect Module uses a USB Type-C Plug connector.

A Multiverse Mount Kit is required to connect the module. After a simple installation of the Mount Kit on the fixture, the Connect Module will screw into place. The module and kit are IP64 rated, so Lonestar Prime, MegaPix, and GigaPix remain well-suited for outdoor productions even when the accessory is in use.
