AV Manufacturer Chooses SDVoE Platform to Deliver Solutions for Large-venue Entertainment

The SDVoE Alliance announces that RGBlink, a manufacturer of pro AV solutions, has joined the alliance as an adopting member.

"The mission of the SDVoE Alliance aligns beautifully with our philosophy of a standards-based approach," says Justin Knox, marketing director at RGBlink. "We're excited to see the SDVoE community continue to develop and are looking forward to bringing our unique RGBlink solutions to customers taking advantage of video over IP."

"RGBlink serves a diverse worldwide customer base for whom uncompromised quality, seamless video switching, and advanced video processing are paramount," says Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. "In the live events market, latency performance is absolutely critical, and SDVoE delivers like no other AV-over-IP approach can. We applaud their decision to design their next-generation pro AV products on the SDVoE standard and look forward to collaborating with them in the global marketplace."

RGBlink will be exhibiting at InfoComm 2019 (Orlando, June 12-14) in booth 601. The SDVoE Alliance will be in booth 1143.

All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, the company says, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing, and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offering substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.
